Default Why can't any bull/brush guard fit my truck?

I've been searching Ebay motors and Craigslist to find a bull bar or brush guard for my truck. The discription usally says "Will not fit Sport models." is it because Dodge changed the front bumper when they produced the Sport models?

Yeah, sport bumpers are different. I did see someone recently on the forum with a sport and a brush guard

The bumpers changed for 99 model year (I think) and after. Prior to that, Sports were the same as everything else. Just body colored bumpers/grille/taillight trim.

It looks legit, and if really US made, a pretty good deal. Just dont plan on hitting anything with it.

Looks pretty nice. You're not going to have very many options since you have a sport. Too bad they don't have a picture of one on a ram...

I certainly hope you don't hit anything with that. That design sits a bit higher then most. Instead of trashing the end of your frame and everything behind it in an accident, you'll be out a hood also. Sketch
