Make sure your rear O2 is getting power for the heater circuit, and its 5 volt reference signal. Verify the ground on the heater circuit.

Check continuity of the signal wire from the O2 sensor, to the PCM.

If the code is resetting after you hook the battery back up, and start the engine..... it really shouldn't be doing that.

Try reflashing your PCM. (go back to stock, reset, put back in whatever tune you are using. or, even try a different tune, and see if the problem persists.)

is the o2 sensor new?

what brand of o2 are you using?

Did YOU look up the part number to make sure it was the right one, or did you rely on a counter person looking it up for you?

if it's the rear one, and it's the wrong one- the fouler trick isn't going to help you..

if it's the same one that was fine before, then the fouler trick is the easiest and cheapest way out- unless it is on another level like Zman and HeyYou are suggesting- if it's a ground you failed to put back, or on a PCM level- you've got issues I can't make any suggestions for..

Ok this is ganna be long, I put the IAT sensor in the mopar round filter, temp is normal and t stat is good. I disconnected the battery and it sill popped up, I can clear the code and a second later it popped back up (truck wasnt running). IDK what brand I bought them at weavers, the counter guy gave me them, I did notice that the rear sensor was smaller then the one that was in it. The truck runs great I have to adjust my TV cable a lil yet it jumps in to 4 then drops back to 3 and then back to 4. The truck sounds just lik lastrights but a lil louder cuz of exhaust. I moved the ground wire and it didnt change anything. I dont think I missed anything.

Make sure the sensor is plugged in all the way. They are pretty hard to snap in sometimes .
