make sure you replace the one with only one wire. that goes to your gauge, the other 2 wire one is read by the PCM. or replace them both.

Well just stopped by Autozone since I was right by one while out. They only show a temp sensor and it has the 2 prong plug. I didn't see any other sensors from what I could see in the T-stat area.

Looking by the T-stat the sensor looks to have a 2 prong plug on it.

Keep in mind, you have two..... you want the one to the passenger side of the thermostat housing. Should be a single wire connector. THAT is the one for the gauge.

Well got the temp sensor and temp sending unit replaced. Its a bit better but still running in the low 200's so thinking maybe a bad t-stat or the new radiator is not getting enough flow. I'll run by Napa and grab a new t-stat on the way home.

have you checked the coolant level? since you replaced a whole bunch of parts maybe there was some air in the system that has worked it's way into the rad.

The coolant hasn't changed much. I bleed out some air and let it run for a while. Got the sensors replaced and the gauge stayed around the 200 - 205 mark but when cold it doesn't seem like the Tstat opens up till around 220-230 then it will drop to about 200.

I talked to a mechanic that said check the temp of the radiator in and outlets. I got about 166-170 on the top and 144 on the bottom.

Just tested by the neck for the Tstat and got a reading of 209.
