Default How Hard?

How hard is it to replace brake pads? Im attempting it tomorrow and found a couple websites that go step by step and what not. I saw the vid in the DYI section but that didnt really help out haha. I also bought my brake pads from Advanced Auto. The 36 dollar "gold" ones. Anyone use em? If theyre not the best theyll do for now.

It's easy. Download the manual from the FAQ section.

Fronts are real easy. All you need is a 3/8 Allen head socket. I could prolly both sides in 20 minutes or so. I always use a big c-clamp to push the piston back in.

You need to check and grease the slide pins too. The manual outlines everything you need to do, instead of winging it.

What do you mean? Winging it's the best!!! That's when you get the best follow up post titled, "All I did was change my pads and now I have no power steering"

LOL, He needs to torque the bolts too, specs are in manual. The OP atleast should browse through the procedure. After all, it is brakes we are talking about.
