i check my oil on a monthly basis and this past month was the only time it was abnormal. but i was even below my dipstick so i put some oil in it. the truck feels like it is working sooooo hard just to keep up with normal driving cars. is that the blown gasket?

Could be a clogged cat aswell.
And an overdue tune up.
And 3.55 gearing.
But the plenum is a big part, fix that first.

I purely do not have the time. Between work and homework, there isn't the 8 hours I would need doing it the first time.
That's why I was gonna take it to a shop.
Do you have the FSM yet? If not, download it. It is in the FAQ's section.
You can find the torque procedure for the belly pan and the manifold.
48-84 in-lbs.

so i have a question again.... on summitracing and eldelbrock the fi airgap for magnum motor the part number is 7576 and 7577 which is on both websites but it looks different from hughes website and half the price. So are they similar?
