Between drew and I, we both upgraded injectors and we both ran rich.

When looking at "upgrades" you ONLY want to upgrade the number of HOLES. 4 holes are better. HOWEVER, different injectors rated at the SAME PSI will flow differently in real life.

WATCH THIS:

I am running the inectors that are on the far left....the ones that dump A LOT of fuel!!!

I RECOMMEND:
Bosch GEN III yellow tops. They are "19 lbs/hr" at 43.5 PSI. But they have a GREAT stream (in the video). All injectors only run about 70-80% of their capabilities with a stock engine, so going lower on anything that is not HEAVILY modded (cam/heads and/or boost).

Here they are for a good price. I got FMS 24# injectors and I ran VERY rich. It made the performance BAD. I needed a custom tune from hemifever, and I am ruinning good now.

I would think that these Bosch III yellows are the closest thing to a "plug and play" that you can get.

However, you may need to get EV1 connectors if your truck does not have EV1 connectors (EV1s are rectangles and EV6s are oval with red tabs).

Moral of the story:

Do not get injectors unless you have a cam/head combo. Other than that, you are wasting money for little gain. HOWEVER, I think you can get more of a gain with a SCT and a wideband O2 AND some dyno tuning. But you will be spending about 800-1000 dollars between the injectors, SCT, wideband 02, and dyno tune.

It is like the old saying for the guys who used to run carbed engines... it is not a real mod unless you need to change jets. Well, a stock injector on a stock tune only runs about 80% of their capability. If you upgrade exhaust and intake, then you will still be fine with stock injectors. Start getting into cam AND heads, then you can open up some more ponies.
