Dual Exhaust
First I ran a y pipe dual behind the cat, sounded ok... not very loud so I gutted the cat with the y pipe dual... sounds so ****ty and you lose so much power. I now have a gutted cat and a magnaflow muffler in place of the y pipe. Not loud but I got a ****ton of power. My buddy ran true duals with his but instead of cats he ran a pair of 12 inch glasspacks. Sounds so nice its loud and really snappy if your looking for loud I would definantly go with a true dual with a 12in gp on each side. bring it to the muffler shop you just gotta know how to ask
you will not be disappointed

I have a Flowmaster Super44 on my truck, stock cat and duals straight out the back into 3 1/2'' tips. It sounds really good. Rumbles at idle, and nice and loud when you get on it. A hi-flow cat and some bigger tips w/S44 muffler would be the shiat!
Think im gonna go with no cats, shorty headers, and the two 12in glasspacks in the end, then ive got the 5" chrome tips ill 45 out the back. about a foot or two long. Another question i have, i'm going to drop in a built up 360 a friend of mine is selling me later this summer, will my exhaust bolt right up to that engine? Headers? Thanks so much guys.
Yeah for sure. It's a rebuilt 360 that hasnt been put in anything since the build. All factory though besides a couple little things. So I may just have him put a few things in when he installs the engine. Atleast a cam, 1.7rr's, M1 intake, maybe a fastman tb, and an intake and such. I'm hoping to have a 5-speed by then to try and get that in there. Gotta find a divorced front diff.
Where would be the best place to sell my 318 in your opinion? And for how much? It's only got 140k on it and it runs straight. and i mean straight, doesdnt burn any oil, always been changed every 2500-3000 miles, and i regularly clean the intake, run cleaner through it and it has never been beaten too bad.
