my 2001 dodge ram 360 has stock manifolds and a gutted cat and a flowmaster super 44 mulffer with a 3in tail pipe that comes out at a 45 angel it soundsw sick as hell

but my buddy has a 98 durango with the 350 and we just gut his muffler out and we didn't touch his cat and i welded in a a pipe inplace of his mile long muffler and it was so loud and sounds sick and he didn't lose any power i'd say he probly gained a little and it was loud and had a nice tone than my 400 dollars work exhuast work did and he only spend 50 on all the pipe and having me weld iit in for him

i'm buying headers and a S&B intake systems forr my dodge with mmy next paycheck
and i've found on ebay they have the dual exhaust with mufflers they who kit you can clamp it together or have it welded but its 150-175. my dad bought one for his 95 1500 and it sounds really nice its very loud and comparable to my flowmaster muffler so i'm kinea leaning towards ge3tting that system for my rig

Well I just removed my old glass packs and put on dual flow super 44's and I am happy with the new sound, much better than the glass packs, sounded like a farm tractor with a glass pacs on it.

Got a question for you guys who know about doing a true dual x pipe. What about the O2 sensors? Where and how do they get mounted?

Friend of mine that does exhaust for a living, ran both pipes down the passenger side of the truck, with a VERY short H pipe in about the same location that the cat used to occupy. He put the other one in one of the pipes back further down from it. Ran great, no codes, no problems.

When we did mine we ran both pipes down passenger side like hey you said but we didnt have to do ne H pipe or X pipe. i went on and found a spacer online for really cheap and i just put the o2 sensors where they would be if the cat was in. runs great no codes on mine either
