Default won't start

97 ram 1500, extended cab, 4x4, 5speed, 5.2l, new plugs wires cap and rotor, plenum fixed.

When i get gas my truck wont start after im done pumping the gas. it turns over and wont start. if you pump the gas while starting it, it will eventually start but it will run really rough for like 15 seconds. then while driving, when you push the clutch in and start slowing down, the rpms drop down to 50 or it just stalls. if it stall, then it wont start right away just like after i get gas. also, its not throwing any codes.

Any ideas?

sounds like the coil isnt sending enough volts to the plugs.... id say check the resistance on the coil and go from there! also check your tps and iac, that could help your idle issues.

How's your battery? I know they won't idle right and you saying after it sits getting gas it's harder to start. Might be worth looking into.

On yours, that will be the one on the drivers side of the thermostat housing. (you have two.) Check the connector first, make sure it is clean and tight. If you can, plug a scanner into it, and see what the PCM thinks engine temp is, vs. what it really is. If there is a discrepancy there, replace the sensor.
