That seems odd. It isn't bouncing off the rev limiter is it?

Are you seeing an RPM drop on the tach or is the feeling more of a long delay in the shift?

like i said going down the freeway if i kick the od off ill be around 3000rpms and all of the sudden it will just cut out you can hear it feel it and see it on the tach. i have no idea why its doing it. if im getting on it it usually wont happen until im closer to 4000rpms but no its not bouncing off the rev limiter im not even coming close to redlining it.

An odd one..... just as a wild guess, try swapping the ASD relay, with another, like, the wiper relay..... see if that makes any difference.

Being able to data log here would be very nice, but, I know very few people actually have that capability...

well today i noticed a whole new symptom, on the freway again doing about 75 i floor it and it did nothing for about 10 seconds and then it down shifted and bogged down, it was about 5 seconds before i could resume normal driving. while bogging down it jumped and lurched a few times. as far as i can tell it is only doing this in 3rd gear.

another 'only in third gear' problem?????

Check your fuel pressure...... would be nice if you could place the gauge so you could see it while driving, and see what it does when you step down hard on the gas.

Sure sounds like momentary fuel starvation. I second HeyYou, I wonder what the fuel pressure is doing while all of this is happening.
