Default AC CLUTCH ??? tried most things i think >

So my 99 5.9L is having some ac problems I am assuming it is the clutch but Ill let you guys chime in before I drop the $300 bucks. So heres what ive tried.

1. Jumped the high pressure side connecter and nothing

2. Jumped the low pressure connector all that happens in the idle increases a little bit

3. swapped the fuel pump and ac relays , no change

5. checked as many ac connections as i could find for voltage and all i checked checked out ok.

Any other suggestions or help guys would be great

If you couldn't get the compressor to turn over by jumping the switch then it's probably bad. Most places require you to replace a couple parts (dryer, orifice tube, evaporator) with the compressor for them to honor the warranty on the compressor so check with whoever your getting it from.

I have bought a junk yard compressor before that was only $30 and it works fine. Might be a way to save some money

Do you get voltage at the connector for the A/C clutch?
