Default my next issue i need input on

first off thanks to everyone whom posted about my computer not talking i belive i got it all fixed and working correctly again.

my current question is... while watching the engine run trying to figure out what path to take about my motor randomly bogging down, i noticed exaust is coming out of either side of my engine right about where the manifold hooks up is this normal? or is something on its way to failing or becoming an issue

I would take a long hard look at your catalytic converter. Exhaust will take the path of lest resistance. You can try resealing those two spots, and see if you can make the leak go away. As that leak is upstream of the pre-cat O2 sensor, it will indeed have some effect on how the engine runs.

it only happens when the engine bogs down as it is using the path of least resistance, i had the check engine code run, got a pre cat O2 sensor running high voltage. if i replace the cat with some generic cheap crap will it hold up long enough to make the damn check engine light go away so i can go pass emissions? cause i dotn feel like spending a ton of money on a cat unless i have to as it is going to be removed and manifold will be replaced with headers upon my pass

The magnaflow high flow guys are only like 80 bucks. And will last a long time.

Also replace the pre-cat O2 sensor.....

Don't eliminate the O2 sensors. The pre-cat sensor is EXTREMELY important in how the engine runs, the post cat can be 'fooled' by doing the non-fouler trick if you are getting catalyst efficiency codes.

ok, but wont the removal of the cat cause the pre sensor to screw up?

Nope. Won't bother it at all.
