crazy oil pressure gauge????

Well I just fixed the intake and I never had a problem before....so I could of pinched a wire hell thousands of possibilities lol

Yah I changed oil twice once before I started it up once after letting it run for half hour

my preasure goes from 40 down to like 20-30 goes up and down all the time mostly when im stopped it will go down and when i drive will come back up and sometimes while im driving it will go down to 30-35 i just touch the gas alittle further and it will come up and so on!

yeah mine goes to below zero like when the truck is turned off...anyone know of a simple way to hook up a mech gauge

Sounds like a short. I would try to investigate before just replacing the gauge.

I just bought a generic 20 dollar mechanical gauge at the parts store. It comes with all the fittings to hook it up. Trying to get them all in there, and tight is the fun part. The location of the OPS does NOT lend itself to easy replacement.

yeah tell me about it i am outside in the rain trying to fix it and i am making up 4 letter words i never heard before

well new sending unit didnt fix same thing the old one was gummed up pretty bad but the new one did the same thing so i guess i will just go get a mechanical gauge and call it good...but can i just thread it in where the oem sender went???
