Default 94 wont start

Hey everyone I have a 94 RAM with a 5.9.
I can't get it to start. I have spark and plenty of fuel pressure. Tune up was just done not to long ago. It sounds like it wants to start sometimes but won't. Any ideas?

do you have the firing order right? Is there a chance you twisted the dizzy ANY while replacing the cap?

Firing order is right and yeah its coughing. Could it be the pick up coil?

you said you were getting spark, right? Could be, but it's been my experience with a pick-up coil that it misfires at cruising RPM's when it's about to go..

I'm questioning your fuel sync.. and that is the reason I asked if you spun the dizzy any.. I'd look toward CPS as well..

first things first though- verify fuel, verify fire, verify air.

What is this dizzy you're talking about? if you mean the distributor it hasn't been moved at all. And yes I have a strong spark and all injectors are firing and there is air

dizzy is your distributor.

cool- you're likely looking at a bad CPS then most likely.. I'm assuming a lot, but I'm guessing you did a tune for a reason, and now you're having issues after a bit..

The CPS is responsible for knowing where your crank/pistons are at in terms of your ignition timing.. It sounds like your timing may be out of whack.. Get a new sensor from the dealer as opposed to aftermarket place and swap it out.. see what happens..

TRY this though- disconnect your battery for a few minutes- then reconnect it and try to start..

Where is the crank sensor located? And if the crank sensor is bad should I not be getting spark and fuel?

CPS is cam sensor, CKPS is crank...

To answer your question, the cam sensor is in the distributor...

I stand corrected.. it may be CKPS.. so, get a new CKPS.

you can use the search feature to find out how.
