Does the PCM agree with the the indash gauge?

Trans temp sensor shouldn't affect the engine starting. Just the way it shifts..... (or lack thereof as the case may be.)

The pcm is reading 88 degrees so its not really showing on the gauge.

Ok, so, temp is probably correct.

Have you checked fuel pressure? (I am following too many threads.... Don't recall if you have tested that or not.)

That's just odd. You have everything you need for it to run, it SHOULD be running......

When you put the pedal down, and it starts, will it continue to run after you release the key?

Have you tried doing some relay swapping? ASD, and Fuel Pump relay? (swap the horn, or wiper relay around, and test them individually.)

After releasing the key it will just die after a second. I've done all the relay swapping around.d too, and still nothing :-( I think the truck is possessed.

Check and see if you are losing power at the coil after releasing the key.
