LOL...Actually, I figured you were talking about the cam sensor, and the OP incorrectly inferred that it was the crank sensor...

In any case, both the CKPS and CPS have a large effect on spark timing, so either one might be the problem...

If the crank sensor is bad would my RPM gauge still work? Because my RPM gauge is working fine with no problems.

I replaced my coolant sensor because it was dumping fuel due to the connector being broken, all my plugs were soaked in gas, so I replaced all the plugs, and I still can't get the truck to start. Only time it even attempts to start is when the throttle is completely open. I can actually get it to run for a minute if I unplug the fuel pump relay and spray starting fluid into it. any ideas?

Did you do the crank sensor?

No not yet I thought I had found the problem with the coolant sensor but I was wrong.

gasoline doesn't burn.. gas vapors do.. your engine is flooded prety bad if the plugs are soaked.. one of the things that will do that is squirting fuel on the cylinders on the wrong stroke, or spark not being applied at the right time.

you said you had spark IIRC, and also fuel delivering. Air is pretty obvious.. You have either a absolutely whacked out fuel sync, which could have been done if the dizzy was really twisted good- but I'm thinking you'd know about that.. Your firing order is really jacked up.. IIRC you said that was good.. Your Cam Position Sensor is bad, or your Crank Position Sensor is bad.. I'm going to guess it's your CKPS, since that creature is the basis for timing (hitting spark in the right after intake compression) on these rigs..

You said it fired with starting spray but not under fuel pressure. but your cylinders have gas in them.. I'm having a hard time venturing away from the CKPS..

Anyone else got any ideas?

If it fires on starting fluid, with the pump disabled, I am going to guess you still have an issue in the temp circuit.
