Default Suspension arm bushings/Tranny shift points

Hey guys i have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4 slt laraime single cab 5.9.

I have deathwobble at about 40+ mph. I replaced the track bar with a moog track bar and got a alignment. It fixed the toe in in and it drives alot straighter. But it also has wonder steering.

So I have death wobble and wonder steering. I am thinking it is the bushings on the arms coming off the frame to the axle, the dana 44. What are those called? I am having trouble finding bushings.

Another question, when i pin the throttle to the floor it shifts only at like 3.4k at WOT so it doesnt seem to have any low end. Is there anything i can do to fix this? My 2000 dakotas 4.7 had more low end than this truck.

and one more, the other day i was loading wood and it drove great then i parked it next to the wood pile. I went to pull forward a little and it fired then sputtered and died. then when i tried to start it again it just putted a lil then died. So i spent 20 min on the phone with triple a and tried tos tart it one more time and it fired up and drove good.

Could i have gotten air into the fuel lines with a bad gas cap? I replaced it and its running good now i was just wondering.

Thanks guys for all your help!
-Spencer

have you fixed your plenum yet?

sounds like TV cable is in need of adjustment.

Thoroughly inspect your steering, from the column to the wheels. See if anything is sloppy.

I believe i will need a new steering box because it has alot of sloppy wonder steering. I took the truck in to get the wheels balanced and that helped alot but there still is a shake at about 55 mph.

I still have not taken off the air box but i ordered a CAI and when i take the old one off ill check for oil on the intake manifold. If I were to replace the plenum plate and gasket what else should i do whilst i have the manifold off? Timing Chain? Water Pump?

Also i got the starting issue solved it was the fuel pump, easy as pie to replace when i took the bed off.

If you have a boatload of miles on your truck, timing chain wouldn't be a bad idea, same for the water pump.

the truck has 147k on the clock so it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I bought it for 2k so i have a little extra money to spend on it.

I played with the tv cable for about an hour and i got some good results but still calibrating. Right now the shift points are about 1000 rpms higher so it was way outa wack. Im currently letting it cool down down and am going to back it off a bit and i think i will be good.

Also who makes a good throttle body spacer?

You're looking for control arm bushings. Aftermarket ones are cheaper than stock replacements.

You'd have to call and ask cause it says 00-01 but these are in my 97 but I've got skyjacker control arms. They should fit though.

well i am not sure because control arms are for a ifs unless i am mistaken. But they come from the frame to the dana 44 straight axle.

I am wondering if these would work for a stock ram 1500 4x4 with no lift. I could prolly do a leveling kit if i got those?
