I want to get the rear main seal replaced because its shot. Leaking, broke. Im just wondering how much it would cost to rebuild the engine for the hell of it. I might have to get it done next year because i want it done. Its old.

 

 

So you want to rebuild the motor for no real reason? Have you lost compression anything like that? If you want to rebuild the motor just because "its old" your mechanic is either going to love you or hate you. While your at it rebuild the transmission its just as old as the motor. So are the front and rear diffs and the transfer case... You can spend a TON of money rebuilding things on your truck that don't need to be just because "its old"

while i'm at it i might rebuild myself. i'd pobably have to do one arm at a time.

 

I've already started getting rebuilt. Right hip replacement several years ago.
Waiting for a brain replacement from a brain surgeon so I can make the big money!
