Enough said.

For what its worth, I had a flowmaster 40 before, mine also rusted to hell. I have an 18" Stainless steel magnaflow with a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that.

i had a magnaflow 24 inch i believe i know it was a big muffler.. my truck was to quiet and on heavy acceleration had more of a high pitch hum i heard my stock intake more than i heard my muffler.. i switched to flowmaster 40 and it was great.. but i wanted more of a throaty louder at idle and wot.. i debated on going either straight pipe. went open headers for a day wow loved the sound its y i thought about straight pipes.. but in the end i went with the flowmaster super 10.. and it gave me the sound level i wanted and the throaty sound i wanted.

this was my ss/t when it was green with the stripes. and when it was all stock except for the muffler.. THIS IS WUT I MENT ABOUT IT BEING TO QUIET AND MORE OF A HUM.

Stainless last pretty good. My 87 still has the original system on it. That was the first year Dodge came out with stainless from the factory I think.

Flowmaster Super 44 with no cat or Thrush glass pack with a high flow cat both sound really good.

IMO Aero Turbine makes the best mufflers. Straight through, no packing to burn out, 100% stainless, good and loud when you step on it and no drone while cruising.
