Nice to see others finally discovering AT mufflers. They really are the best thing since sliced bread. Too bad most people wont ever try them since they aren't a Slowmaster or Magnafart

Meh. I've heard your truck from videos you've posted in the past, and to be 100% honest, do not care for the sound. I'm glad you like it and think its as good as sliced bread, but it is not for me.

The videos dont do justice for the actual sound of the AeroTurbine. The Durango video he posted earlier is the first video I had ever heard of that muffler, and when I slapped mine on, the sound was completely different from what the video sounded like. AT and Borla have the best sound IMO for our engines...

I put the Spintech Sportsman XL 3"si/so on my 5.2 and I was very impressed with the sound. It also brought back a noticeable amount of low end compared to the CBExtreme I had on it. Keep in mind the truck has PS longtube headers with 3" off-road y-pipe, no cat, and runs straight back to under the rear bumper. The sound level dropped a little as well as the drone so no longer unbearable in the cab, but the growl turns to a roar when under heavy throttle. The raspy cackle the CBExtreme would give is completely gone with the Spintech. I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I like the ST muffler!

The hard part about these discussions is the fact that the "perfect" sound is subjective. Just because I'm happy with mine doesn't mean you would be as well. If I had a decent way to record how mine sounds, I would post it. My recorder is GREAT on video, but lacks when it comes to sound.

personally my favorite muffler is the hooker aero chamber.but i currently have a trush full welded on the and it sounds like a super 40.cat is intact truck is pretty loud on the throttle cruising it sounds awesome.the next muffler goin on will be my 3"70 series flowmaster.mainly because i already had purchased it for my chevy i was building.i went for the dodge and sold my v8 s10.
