The cam position sensor is responsible for firing the injectors in time,so a bad sensor can cause a no-fire also. i agree about the crank sensor and going with a mopar replacement. I've seen after market ones change base timing and cause pinging or loss of power because the point of the pick-up being off in placement. The pick-up is only about 2-3 mm wide,so that leaves alot of room for misplacement in the overall diameter of the sensor.

I think its time to do a compression check.

The proper way to do a compression check is on a warmed up engine, with the entire bank of spark plugs removed. You crank the engine over with the gauge in the spark plug hole until the psi tops out on that cylinder, and move to the next.

Make sure the battery is charged up fully, as that much cranking is going to put a strain on it.

to me it sounds like a head gasket. i don't exactly know how dodges work but a buddies nissan blew the head gaskets and it would almost start then just turn over. had fire gas was great. so sounds like time for a head gasket. sorry about the bad news.

I have found that there is actually very little difference in the results of the test from a warm engine, vs. a cold one, considering that by the time you get to the last couple cylinders, the engine is cold anyway.... might just as well go for consistency. Otherwise, could skew your results. (but not be much....)

ok so the compression is +- 15psi so thats good. what else could it be???? keep in mind that exhaust is coming out of the throttle body that obvioulsy is a problem

Timing chain stretch?

What were your compression numbers? Got a Cylinder Leakdown gauge available to ya?
