Default very sluggish

had trans rebuilt twice. found out the computer may have been the issue the whole time. bought a new computer and it was crap after about a month and got a replacement under warranty. since the trans and 2nd computer put in the truck runs like a dog. has very poor take off compared to before i had any problems. i cant even powerbrake to spin the tires. also the oil pressure on the dash always drops to zero. theres nothing wrong with the pump and ive changed the switch at least 3 times. and it only seems to drop on the gauge when im hammering on the throttle and its at random. can never duplicate it when im trying to do it.

Where did you get your PCM from? Getting any codes? Fixed your plenum yet?

Check out the End all, be all plenum thread stickied at the top of the page. All sorts of 'good' news in there for ya.

Is the truck always sluggish? Or, just after running for a few minutes? does it get worse the further you drive?

gears are stock, havve 33x10.5's on it but they have never affected the power b4 i had the trans and comp problem. as for the cat . thats gone it totally blew out and destroyed my mufler. i split the y pipe and went straight back to 2 flowmaster type mufflers. i did keep the o2 sensors where they were orrignially

More so after the trans or after the comp? Were they replaced at the same time or was there any length of time between them? Im just tryin to narrow down which one it could be. Im wondering if the new comp has "death flash" on it.
