As a rule of thumb most replace the sensor and solenoid together.

Fluid, filter, and band adjustment, at the same time you are doing the sensor, and solenoid, and you should be golden. Provided you don't find any rude surprises in the pan.

Sweet. I changed fluid 5k ago. Truck really doesnt see much driving. Little in winter to go to cabin, and to haul trailer in summer. Still cross fingers tho..

Ill change it after we get back from oregon, order that heavy duty selenoid. And adjust bands that have never been done. Should be good to go for camping season.

Thank all for the input and reassurance!

Duh, saw the check box at bottom to add sensor. So $130 for both, and these are both direct fit for my 46re, (think thats what its got).

transducer IS the sensor. Other part you want is the solenoid.

Edit: Ok, link was to the solenoid.

So if I get that solenoid, and the sensor add on for $130, its direct replacement and itll shift normally again?

I just dont want to modify. Any computer resets or anything after?
