hmmmmmm...

you may have just solved a question I have...

would you be so kind as to report the impact on your cooling system? does your truck run hotter w/ the added depth in the primary rad?

Seems to be the same i let it run to operating temp and i have a 180 stat and its stays at 180 so id say the same. As for tranny temp i do not have aguage for that YET...

Ya. I noticed bmy tranny is shifting way smoother.. i dont like the light shifts.. my shift kit im getting installed tuesday should give me the firmness i want

Got it from advanced auto. It was 61.99 tax cam out to 66.02 its was the imperial maxi-kool xl part number 243012 for full size motorhomes and 5th wheel towing over 10,000 pounds

I'll wager his a/c is going to be affected more than the radiator. Might take the a/c more time to get cool, but that's a creature comfort, not a show stopper.

Might want to replace the rubber flaps on the sides of the radiator now that you have the extra bulk up front. It'll channel more air thru the radiator, and keep the driving rain away from your PCM, too.

I got mine for $10 at FM 600 Wrecking, it was a setup on a 98 Ram and the previous owner even took the check ball out of the valve for me lol. Saved me a little bit of work.
