Sputters After Engine Warm - I am Stumped!
What's the story? Was it damaged? Following up with pictures would be helpful in case someone comes across this thread in the future.
There was nothing wrong with the wiring.
When I pulled it out it had a bunch of metal frags on it. You can see some in the picture. I should have cleaned it off and stuck it back in to test in retrospec but I didn't, I put in a new one.
I suppose it could be the metal that was stuck to it caused it not to read the flywheel however that wouldn't explain it running ok when cold.
I'm going to assume for the grace of spending $100 on a new one that because these are mounted right next to where the exhaust manifold comes down it was a case of deplesion due to heat and time.
