Somebody looking for a transmission tech. I have always been here, all you need to do is write. First thing you need to do is find out why you have a code for the 3-4 shift no rpm drop. To check the torque converter for tcc, you need a scanner (DRB3) to do a torque converter stall test. If it stalls, then the torque converter is locking up. I do have the PDF files for all transmission codes. If you need some of them just, pm with your email address. Have you done any mods to the rear diff? Because that will throw the RPM off. In other words, If you are 4th gear and the speed is 60 mph and your tach reads 2500 rpm. You maybe running 3.92 or 4.10 gears. Just asking.

my build sheet says 3.93 gears but no mods at all. And nothings changed since before it stoped working, it worked one day and not the next, how much do yall think a tranny shop would charge to do a stall check?

Like I posted, You need to find out why you have a 3/4 no rpm code. This could the reason why the tcc not lock up. I don't know if the shops around you have a DRB3 to perform a stall test. I a DRB3 all the time at the shop. I wouldn't know the labor rate the shops around would charge.

It could be the solenoid or no power for the relay. Yes it will cause a lock up problem.

Yes, it is. So, next time you drop the valve body, you will have to wear a blindfold, to make up for your evil ways.
