$125 for a CAI with a shiny tube and pretty filter? or 45 for a shiny saucer that will pull in roughly the same temps?

Unless your gonna go functional hood scoop. All the other crappy doesn't seem any better than stock. Same size tubes, hat, etc. Motor can only suck soo much. And from what I understand, the kegger isn't gonna let it stay cold for long anyways.
Save up for gears and things that'll make a real diff.

this is my spectre cold air intake. looks great under the hood has great sucking power can hear it over my exhaust on heavy acceleration. its all about wut you like and wut your budget is. my budget was limited and i went through it like 10 times weather to get the spectre or 14x3. i picked spectre only becuase i live in florida and in my own opnion didnt think the 14x3 was the one for me as its hot as hell all the time.

IMO, all the CAI filters don't do much, and some probably hurt more than help by adding more hot air into the TB. The added noise makes people think they add HP.
Like I've said, the stock intake side on a Magnum Motor is good to go on a stock motor, I'd work on the exhaust first. You have to breathe out before you can breathe in
