Getting preped for a crazy weekend.
Got my e-fan kit from TCP performance yesterday.
Grinded and smoothed all the welds on the body
Then painted them RAMRED check it out
Spent a night trying to figure out all the wiring and I think I got it down. Just gotta figure out where my A/C Plug is that I'm going to hook up into, also gotta figure out where my engine coolant temperature sensor is. Anyone got pics and can point it out? I think its in-between my alternator and a/c compressor.
Weekend to do list:
E-Fan Install
Water Pump + gasket
Timing Chain + gasket
Oil pan gasket (if needed)
Plenum Plate
Thermostat housing
Kegger Mod + Clean the heck outta Kegger.
Clean and Paint Valve Covers
Change valve cover studs and put on Red Anodized Bolts.
Engine Coolant Bypass Hose
Gunna Re-Use Sensors
Tips and Advance from anyone before hand? Plenty of PB Blaster on all bolts. OH anyone know the tap size for intake manifold bolts. Im going to buy drill/tap combo Just need to know size 5/16-18 or 5/16-24? Got a torch Handy. Getting fuel injector o rings just incase, renting a harmonic balancer puller. Hmmmm cant think of anything else... Anyone?

So its been an eventful weekend of wrenching. Heres what went down:
Friday: Old fan pulled off, electric fan put in wired and check to work
Saturday: Intake manifold, water pump, vibration dampener, timing chain cover, timing chain, fuel injector O-rings, Oil Pan gasket.
Sunday:engine coolant temperature sensors, all pullys, serpentine belt, engine oil and filter, cooling system, put everything together.
Problems snagged: left injection coil power harness behind thermostat housings. Solution: find wire and plug in
Now I have a new problem. My freaking Check Engine Light is on after 100 miles of running and its running perfectly fine. Going to go get it checked out at lunch. I cant believe i took 74 pics this weekend Well here they are!

zman, im kinda using this thread so i can see my progress as I work on the beast. I am planning on writing up a timing chain removal DYI and water pump removal DYI based on my pictures. Could do a full plenum DYI with all 75 pictures as well. Too excited to get the pics up so we can figure out this code thing. I think it may be the fuel injector rails because they were a PITA to get out and i dont think i pushed them in all the way ( i can still see a bit of O-ring) but there is no fuel spraying the mounting bolts for the rails bottomed out. If you guys think it may be that I can take pics to show you. Are the O-Rings supposed to be completely seated where you cant see them? Will post more info when i get the Code

Alright so im back!
Got codes for misfires in cylinder 5 and cylinder 7 (the back two cylinders that i thought i didnt have the fuel injectors in enough. Showed it to my friend and he agreed. Told me to take off fuel rail do it again and reseat it with more oil on the o-ring and make sure it gets in. If the o-ring isnt all the way in and its pulling air through there will this cause the check engine? So he cleared the codes and then all of a sudden I start it and ABS and Brake light came on. Im thinking he may have hit a sensor wire under the hood while messing with cylinders 5 and 7 injectors. Any clue on this guys?
