had a vacuum leak. fixed wow
i had a vacuum leak on my passenger side leading to the intake manafold all those vaccum lines all bunched together the top of it was open so i closed it off with e-tape and wow wut a difference. made my truck feel like it had alot more power.
i was amazed on how a simple small vacuum leak would rob me off power i didnt even know i had it till yesterday i fixed it and was ale to light my tires up like the fourth of july! and throttle response was way quicker
ask and you shall recieve. this piece should of had a cab on it like the other one on but it did not. there is a alot of lines going into each other on the passenger side by the tranny dipstick. to the right it has a spot where they all attach to and goes into the intake manfold. i looked and looked i saw no lines that were off
Wut do you mean? Ive looked several times i couldnt find any wire or hoses that didnt go anywhere. My heat work and my air conditiong works just does not come out my vents on my defrosters. But that hasnt worked ever since they replaced my dash
Here is a photo of what it should look like. I drew the arrows to show that the vacuum line that runs from the spot that you taped off goes through the firewall next to the a/c evaporator core. Whoever replaced your dash broke that vacuum line (probably by pulling it through the firewall when they yanked the dash out, and they didn't replace it. That is why your defrosters don't work and why that line is open that you taped off.
