now of course it has its flaws, but what 12 year old truck doesn't?! the last pic was just a random piece that was in the bed and i didn't know what it was!

do the pics of inside the intake manifold look decent? and as far as the loose air filter housing in the vid, is that ok or should i look into fixing that?

i also mentioned something in another thread about lack of power. wheres the cheapest/easiest place to start? i'll make a video to show that tomorrow!

pretty nice truck. looks all original and un****ed with.

your air cleaner is missing the hold down clamp. yes - you need to fix it asap. get a replacement from either the dealer or junkyard.

i can't tell anything about the plenum. dirty is normal. look for a puddle of oil in the rear as a tell-tale sign.

Nice truck . Tune ups are easy and worth it for power and getting rid of ping on heavy load.. these trucks respond to a 180 stat better than the 195. U can pick up a round air filter at advance for 30 bucks . Sct tuner is the best mod to open these trucks. There very de tuned from the factory to begin with and if you have the death flash it makes it a lot worse of lack of power... Also changing to a highflow cat help for more pep. And taking off the sound guards walls of the throttle body for better flow helps also

Too bad your not closer to me...I have a whole air cleaner and intake assembly I will give you if so, with a new Fram filter too...

I would just go ahead and 14x3 it...thats what I run on mine.

yeah i was thinking that its not helping by just flopping around on the intake! and as far as a puddle i can't see anything more then whats in the pics.

i've run across this on a couple different threads. is this any better then a cold air intake or is it about all the same? and are some 14x3's better than others?
