Hey thanks guys for the advise, I was tied up all weekend doing my plenum fix, along with a list of stuff I wanted to do to my truck (I just got it and it had a few leaks etc) I did the 14x3 air cleaner, I picked up a 50mm throttle body ($95) from the same guy on ebay who does the plenum plates, its a stock one machined and polished, it looks great. so now I need exhaust and a tuner.
And I am plenty comfortable with swapping cams or rockers, done both many times...I prefer the cam option myself.
I am going to tow this summer with the 50mm, 14x3 air cleaner, tuner and exhaust, and see how it responds, then if I am not happy I will probably do the cam in the winter months.

Thanks everyone!

Rockers a are a lot less expensive than doing a cam...... If you go much meaner than stock, you are will need a custom tune, and some head work. (better valve springs.) Doing rockers, you simply replace the stock units, and yer done. (maybe some valve cover modification is necessary.) You get pretty much the same affect as doing a cam, and about half the cost. They work with the stock valve springs, you don't need to pull the intake, (again) and you don't need a custom tune. You get more power from eliminating the friction of the ball and socket rockers, more lift, and more duration at .059" lift. (area under the curve) A all around win situation.
