ABS Code #68?
I have had the ABS/Parking brake light on for over a month. I replaced the rear sensor & pigtail. Installed new rear shoes and bled the system. Measured resistance of the sensors and determined them to be good. Replaced the brake light switch plunger for something to do........ All to no avail.
So instead of continuing to throw parts at it I bit the bullet and took it in to get the abs code read. I was told I had 6 friggin codes and that 5 were erased. The one that came back was a code 68 (Pump Motor Stalled).
I dont even know what a pump motor is but apparently it worth 600.00 from Dodge, haha
My question is....... Am I correct to assume its the control module and is that the unit tucked up against the back of the driver side fender? Is there anything I can do to get it "unstalled"

Replaced the ABS control module this weekend and it got rid of the parking brake light but still have the damn ABS light on.
I guess its the hydraulic control unit next. Anyone replaced these before?

Yup, disconnected it approx 20 mins. Would it make a difference disconnecting it for longer?
No, 20 minutes is fine.
The 98 service manual says "if the controller is replaced, the rear axle type and tire revolutions per mile must be programed into the new controller"
