Yes, both dodge's with the 5.2 and 5.9 have the same size throttle body from the factory. And the stock butterflies can only handle a 50mm bore. If you go larger, you need bigger butterflies.

I thought the 5.9l had a bigger bore from the factory.

52 millimeter = 2.047 inch
Holly has 2" throttle plates and that should be close enough. You can get them from summitracing.com

5.9 and 5.2 have the same stock 48?mm throttle bodies. I have a 5.9 and it measured out to around 48mm and a friend with the 5.2 has the same one.

Actually, the .047 difference is almost 1/16 of an inch. .0625 is 1/16", so you are close. You will have too much gap around the butterfly for them to work properly. At least in my thinking.

If I am wrong about them working, then I will admit it, but I know I am right on the size.

No. You can't delete it. Most people just edit the double post and say "sorry, double post"

When I bored my throttle body out to 50mm I had a high idle issue because the stock plates are 50mm and with the slight angle that they have it left a gap on both ends of each plate. I fixed that by adjusting the stop screw that's hidden under a knock out on the side of the throttle body.
