Angry 2000 ram blown starter sol fuse

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 that keps blowing starter sol fuse when trying to start it. I unplugged starter and it doesnt blow. Had starter tested and they said it was good but all they tested was to see if it ran. Any Ideas on what to do

How did they test it?

Is the fuse the right size?

They pretty much just hooked a hot and a groung to it and said yep it turns. And yes it is the fuse it calls for a 20 amp. Also if you unhook the starter it does not blow.

Could it still turn and be bad. And could it be anything else blowing the fuse.

It is possible for it to free spin and seem good, but once the extra load of the motor is on it, it fails. I'd hate to see you spend money for nothing, so make sure wires/cable check out good first.

Finally found the problem. The hot wire going from battery to starter was coreoded in side had to cut back to good spot.
