Default Fuel pump problem?

Somethig is wrong. Drove on low tank for a day or two. Drove to get gas, nonproblems. Filled up ($60) and went to tart the truck, no bueno. It rolls over then when I let go of the key it dies. After jacking with random stuff under the hood unknowing the problem, I tried starting it, and kept hitting the gas pedal, finally let off easy and it was okay but sounded a little weak. Drove home and let sit for 30min. Started up again just fine (note the fuel guage is still saying full) drove about 10 miles and let it sit for about an hour. Then I started the truck and the fuel Gage says E.? I'm really confused. Idk what to do....

You either have a bad leak.... or the sending unit for the gauge is dying, or you have some wiring issues.
