I dont think there is away to adjust governor pressure. Ill check when I get to the shop but I think the 1756 code could also mean bad computer.

I have suspected the computer before but then started working. now bad again. I'm tracking down a bone yard one now.

Trying a different approach...have not received replacement computer yet but truck decided to behave itself so I rewarded it with a good bath. Think I got it fixed this time....it could happen

Maybe try cleaning connectors at the pcm if you haven’t already.
Just remember to pull negative battery cable first.

Was the negative battery cable disconnected during these repairs??
