any good shift kits out there? what are yalls opinion on which to get? or even whether to get.

I'd say get one, most run the transgo kit around here.

I've been wondering about this myself for a while now. Not to jump in on Buck Slayer's thread. But another thing we're both probably wondering, about how much is the transgo kit?

Aww its alright, jump on in brother! So what exactly do these shift kits even do? I've just heard people talking about them...the seem like a decent "cheap" mod.

There is not much to it if your not afraid of pulling the valve body.
Also make sure you have the factory service manual just in case.
