Default Loud noise at 70-75 mph

New to the forum, new to Dodges, new to trucks. Not so mechanically inclined.
Got a 2000 Dodge ram 2500 with the V10. Did a 30 minute trip north and noticed a loud up at about 70-75 mph. Almost sounds like the hum when you veer off the road and run over the slits in the road to wake you up but not that loud. Sounds like it is coming from the front right tire area. Recently had the breaks done on that side, new breaks, calipers etc...

Help?

Jack up that wheel, and give it a shake, see if anything moves, that shouldn't.... sounds like a wheel bearing is going out.

Check it anyway. Who did the job, and how much was the part?

The right side was done in TX by the previous owner. Took it to Firestone and they think it is the transfer case...chain stretching or something now hitting the inside. Saying a rebuild may be needed....

Pull the tail shaft off yourself and see if the snap ring is broke, before it's too late(if not already). And even if it is too late ,get one of these installed regardless.

How difficult is this and could this be the actual problem?

Sorry, gave you the wrong info. Read back and I see you have a 2500 which most likely has a 241HD TC. Tail shaft is not removable and the TC saver won't fit anyway. Sorry.
