cold air intake

Would the spectre or 14x3 give the best gas mileage? And also does the 14x3 get flooded easily? Because I want better gas mileage (10mpg sucks) but I also like going through deep puddles and mud.

If you google the 14x3 dodge ram there are a lot of forums and DIY about this, I just looked it up and became overwhelmed

The valve side goes from the PCV valve, to the intake. (vacuum source.) The other side, is just an intake for clean air. (don't wanna suck crap into the crank case.) I think dodge swapped sides with the PCV over the years, but, the hose that connects to the aircleaner, after the filter, is the intake side of the PCV system. Valve regulates how much air flows thru the crankcase.
