Default My ram revs up when I put it in park

Hey guys, I got a 2001 dodge ram sport 5.9 automatic that revs to about 1200 rpm when I put her in park. I have replaced the iac sensor, tps, cam sensor, crank sensor, and I checked for vacuum leaks and found nothing. I can get it back down to normal idle if I give it a quick rev and then it will settle back down to the normal 600 rpm. Any ideas what is causing this??

Did you reset the PCM after changing the parts?

Is the throttle linkage/cable/pedal binding? (not allowing the throttle to close all the way.)

To reset the PCM, all I do is disconnect the battery and switch the headlights on for a minute and reconnect the battery after about 15 minutes, right?

with negative battery cable disconnected, switch on the headlights for 30 seconds to drain the capacitors in the pcm and erase the memory.

then turn headlights off and immediately reconnect battery. no need to wait.

Resetting the PCM didn't help, and the linkage cables are all good... Any other ideas ??

Could the IAC pintle not be closing enough? I would think in theory if you remove the load by putting it in park and it reved up that more air going by could give you this problem. I haven't seen it that is why I'm not sure.

the first post says you replaced "iac sensor" and TPS.
no such thing.
did you mean IAC motor or IAT sensor (intake air temp).

if you haven't replaced the IAC motor on the rear of the throttle body, do that.

I replaced the iac sensor on the back of the throttle body and the throttle position sensor on the drivers side of the throttle body. That's the name of the parts that the part store had listed for them
