For the hughes, are you referring to these guys?

I was more referring to the specific rockers.

HS rockers will give a bit more power. Hughes will be more accurate, so, six of one, half-dozen of the other...... HS are cheaper.....

LOL, Read the last bullet point!

"Will fit under stock valve covers. (The baffle inside the valve cover will need to be modified. Instructions are provided."

Any 1.7 rocker arm will fit under the stock cover if you "modify" the oil baffles with a 2x4.

The Harland Sharp 1.7's fit without "modifying" the baffles. That, plus the price is probably the reason so many guys here run them. The only thing better about the Hughes rockers is that they are adjustable for a future cam purchase, but for the same price, you can get just about any set of rocker arms from any manufacturer in adjustables. 1.6 or 1.7 ratios from Harland Sharp, Crower, Crane if they still exist, heck one guy (greenmachine) is running Scorpion Racing rocker arms in a 1.73 ratio I believe.

Hughes marketing cracks me up sometimes.

I'd be all over the Hughes 1.65 rockers, but they won't work with Eddy heads. For what it's worth, I'd go for adjustable 1.7 rockers. That way if you do a cam in the furure, it'll be easier.

Did you feel a good power increase after you installed yours? How much did you pay for yours if you dont mind me asking? We like to get a set if the power increase vs price is worth it?

I don't have 'em. Yet. It IS something I plan to do though.... You get power gains in a couple different ways.... Reduced friction, because of the rollers, and added lift, with the higher ratio. They are computer friendly, so, no custom tune required.... all in all, not bad bang for the buck.
