help, wont start

It cranks, but won't fire? Are you getting spark?

Played with relays. Swapped them and put back. Then I floored it and got it started. But it won't idle now, above 1k rpm it seemed fine. But below that and it dies.

TPS or IAC.... You could try cleaning the throttle body, and IAC passages therein..... might fix it. If it doesn't, check the tps with a meter.

Where is the tps, and how do I check it? Why would that prevent it from starting, normally I don't have to give it any throttle to start.

Most likely the IAC on back of TB. I'd do like HeyYou suggested and remove and clean the TB .

Get a TB gasket for 3 or 4 bucks too. And while it's off, get a mirror and look around inside the manifold for oil pooling.

What is an iac and tps, where are they located, and what do they look like?

TB is easy to remove, 4bolts and some linkage. The IAC is on back of the TB. TPS is on driver side of TB. (can't be cleaned) The IAC can be. But don't push/pull or twist the pintle. SPray it and let it dry. BTW, remove the negative battery cable before doing anything.

Clean the bore out good in the back of the TB where the IAC inserts into, and don't lose the oring.
