straight to the radiator no shroud? How do you run your coolant and washer fluid tanks?

Joey,

If it runs cooler without the shroud than with the shroud, something is very wrong. I ran e fans strapped to the radiator for 2 years and my temps were never as stable as with that shroud.

Can you take a few pics of how it's currently mounted? And what you think might be wrong?

Bottles on mine were mounted with big HVAC zip ties for a while. Got tired of cutting them off and replacing them, so I put the stock fan shroud back on the radiator over the fans and used it to hold the bottles afterward.

here is a pic of coolant reservoir:

I was at a little 4x4 get together last year and a guy with a Cheby had his efan mounted clean and had two anodized aluminum bottles on a single mount. They were actually made for that purpose so he didn't have to do anything but mount them and plug in hoses. I asked where he got them and he said at some high end car/truck accessory shop in Ca.
I snapped a couple pics, I'll have to see if I can find the SD card that they still may be on...

As Squirrels stated, if you are running cooler without the shroud, something isn't set up right. I run the TCP shroud, and my truck runs as cool as can be. The shroud should always help, as it directs the air flow. A shroud isn't 100% necessary, but it does help.

I used to run a single Flex-a-Lite Black Magic 180 fan, like Hammer does. It got cooler faster and was more stable with the factory shroud then just the fan alone.

I first ran me e-fans mounted on the tcp shroud, Then mounted then straight to the radiator with the stock shroud over it still 220* temps onthe highway only. Yesterday I pulled the stock shroud off left the fans bolted to the radiator, and even removed two out of the 4 lights on my brush guard (the center 2) just incase they were blocking airflow well went on a drive and temps stayed at 200 throughout the entire drive. In other words 2 e-fans straight to the radiator. I would like to use my washer fluid reservoir seeing as I do a bit of mudding. WOOH COME ON!!!
