New Belt squeals Really bad

I got the expensive Gates belt from NAPA and put it on after doing the plenum. Also put on a new tensioner. It would not stop squealing no matter what. Went to Advance and got the Dayco belt. The Dayco belt has what looks like felt on the inside where the ribs are and was a hair longer. Never squealed once.

I took it back to Orallys and got my money back and bought the Dayco from Advanced and no more squeal..

Hmm, did you by any chance match up the length of it like HeyYou suggested? And did you clean all the pulleys again?

I cleaned all the pulleys put the belt back on and it still squealed. Grabbed the receipt got my money back and then went to Advanced and got the Dayco belt and put it on and no squeal.
