Make sure the new belt has the same amount of groove's. And belt dressing is a no no. Get some carb cleaner and clean the belt and the pulleys. Use a wire brush to clean the grooves of the pulleys. Also make sure the tensioner is notfroze up and moves all the way back and forth.

What brand belt?

The belt is a Gates FleetRunner-Serpentine Belt. The belt has the same number if grooves and the tensioner is fine and i cleaned the pulleys with a wire brush and Ether.

Assuming you checked all the pulleys for noise and free spinning, that's all I got.

Would taking the belt off and cleaning it fix it or just wait and see if the squeal goes away after the belt brakes in a little?

I'd take it off and clean everything again. That stuff sucks.

The belt is either too long, or the tensioner is going belly up.
