New Moog ball joints , lower. 4WD. Fit the knuckle back on. The lower ball joint nut is a lock nut, once it gets a little tight on the threads the ball joint stud just spins. Can tighten it. I tried tightening the top joint first to move the knuckle higher, but it still doesn't work. Is the the knuckle is worn? It seems that the taper isn't tight in the knuckle.

 

Run the top nut all the way tight, that 'should' stop the lower from spinning, if you have air tools, hit it with an impact wrench, once it tightens up a bit, it will stop spinning.

 

I torqued the top one over 80 ft lbs and it still spun. Moog calls for 75 on the top I think...didn't want to stretch the top hole.

 

You can also get the rest of it put back together, including the wheel. Drop the jack and you'll be able to tighten it .
