Have you done your plenum yet? Tune up? How many miles on the truck? Still have the stock cat? Is it always like that? or is it better/worse when it warms up?

Fix plenum
Replace cat
Replace precat o2 sensor
Do tune up while intake is being fixed

I've replaced my plenum, pre-cat O2 and cat and mine is still a little sluggish until 3k. I haven't figured out what it is after 8 months of looking so I give up.

But... I've done this list and it runs a helluva lot better than when I bought it.

Your tires along with 3:55 gears are not helping.
