Default Brake light switch Problem

So I did a total rebuild on my truck and made some new brake lines which i had to take the brake booster off whats weird is i turned the key on and the brake lights have been staying on when the pedal is up and i push down on the pedal and it still stays on

I used my finger on the brake switch to move the plunger in and the lights turned off it seems like the pedal is not coming up far enough

could this be since i need to bleed the brakes

thanks everyone the beast should be started tonight !

Might just need to adjust the pedal, or the switch.

I had the same problem and I found out that the brake switch plunger was broken and was pushed in. Had to replace it
