I put 2" spacers on a 2wd and it was pretty easy but I had a hard time getting the spring compressor in there. To get it back together I put my jack under the control arm and wrapped a chain around the frame and hooked it to both sides of the jack and compressed the spring that way.

i guess i need to borrow my friends floor jack.. all i got is the stock one :P someone local just asked why i was doing AAL instead of blocks? he said AALs don't give you the full 2" (2" AALs)
I think for the price, a ProComp AAL ($40) would be a better and safer route. Plus it adds just a hair more weight capacity over stock. Rides minutely rougher, but nothing uncomfortable. I have them on mine
