Default How long has your axle joint lasted?

So I bought my truck Jan 22 2010, I replaced the axle joints maybe a month after I got it. Now since I rotated my tires, helped my father in law move his broke down kabota tractor I have a neat click coming from my drivers side front. I pulled my tires and I can move the axle at the u-joint so I need to replace.... Question is how long has yours lasted, and where did you get them... And if you are a off roader or not.

Store : Napa (Not the cheapest they had) I think it said there super tough.. WHAT A HOOT!
Time frame about a year....

Mind you I drive 40 miles a day and the worst the truck sees is dirt road absolutely no four wheeling.

Now I am going to find better replacements, and didn't know if any one was using a brand that had a grease zerk on them...

The reason I bought these was for the zerk. So I put the zerk on and put the axle together.... To find out that when the axle would spin the zerk would hit the ball joints... So I spoke to the napa guy and he said that is to put it together, grease, swap out with a mock zerk that is shaved off. Basically to plug the hole where you just filled it. GOOD TIMES I think the plan in my opinion is to get the spicers and just slow and steady on the rebuild with out touching the grease a lot.

Maybe this weekend if Napa sells these beauties.

I cannot handle my truck poppin and snappin when I am driving.... If it rattles I will wield it...

Man that sucks, when anything below the waist stops working its bad news!!!

My father had back problems for the better part of my life... Always told me use my head not my back... Watching him walk around I listened.

Hope you get it fixed. GL

Make sure the yokes aren't worn out and the slack is in the shaft itself. I've had 2 of these do that.
